American singer Meat Loaf, known for hits including “Bat Out of Hell,“ has died at 74, his family said in a statement.
The singer, whose real name was Michael Lee Aday, was known for his powerful vocal range and theatrical live performances over a career spanning six decades. Mr. Aday died with his wife Deborah by his side, a post to his official
page said.
